Congratulations Gus!
Gus is around 3 years old. He is a Chiweenie from the West Coast (USA).
Gus ended up at a shelter in California in the beginning of 2016. In April 2016 he was taken on a long road trip in a big truck up to Oregon with other animals that were given a second chance at finding their forever homes in a new state. Exactly three weeks after he arrived at the shelter in Oregon he underwent a long surgery to fix his broken arm and a new artificial metal elbow joint was created. Lucky for him, he met his foster/forever mom who works at the shelter and she loves him dearly. He now has close to normal use of his arm and has a great life in the pacific NW with his cat brother Ron and 17-year-old beagle-mix "grandpa" Django.
Gus loves having his teeth brushed every night (He loves his dog toothpaste) and really enjoys his dental chews, frozen veggies, and other treats.
