National Take Your Dog to Work Day

Are you tired of all the weird random national holidays like National Pancake Day, National Talk Like a Pirate Day, and National Cheesecake Day? 

I must admit I think some of them are a bit out there but here’s one you may not have known about that I can totally get behind.

National Take Your Dog to Work Day!

Yes, that is a real national holiday and its happening on Friday, June 23, 2017.

Let’s talk about how this started. Pet Sitters International(PSI) created this day to encourage businesses to allow dogs in the workplace for at least one Friday each year. It also helps celebrate the great companions that dogs make and to promote adoptions from shelters, rescue groups, and humane societies. PSI’s hope was that through the even dog-less co-workers would be encouraged to adopt after witnessing the bond between the dogs and their owners. 

This year I received an email from Kurgo highlighting some of there products for National Take Your Dog to Work Day, as well as some information and tips.
