February 2017’s featured friend has been chosen! The honor
this month goes to Frida!
Congratulations Frida!
Frida is a one year old Frenchie from the United States.
Frida was born in Hungary. Somehow she made her way to
Canada. (Someone else’s dog must have eaten the paperwork pertaining to how I
ended up in Canada.) I was purchased in May 2016 by my human sister, Hannah,
who is a sophomore in college. She had always wanted a dog and after checking
with her roommates got me. Her roommates soon began complaining because I cried
in my crate when she would go to work.
The complaints stressed her out so much that she brought me to NJ to visit
my now “mommy.” I was only intended to stay temporarily until Hannah figured
things out, but when she went back to Canada she decided it was best for me to
stay in the US. So my mommy, who had never even heard of a French Bulldog
before, (can you believe that?!), ended up being my forever home. As it turns
out mom was a bit lonely and having me was the best thing that ever happened to
her!! (Even if I was a bit of a silly girl at first, peeing in the house a lot.)
